Private Yoga Sessions Customize Your Exercise

One-on-one instruction at Yoga Studio Satya lets you focus on areas in more depth -- you can discuss proper alignment for your body, asking personalized questions or work on loosening tight hamstrings, for example. If you have an injury or medical condition, private yoga classes let you modify this low impact workout to prevent injury. Aside from their health benefits, private sessions at Yoga Studio Satya with one of our certified instructors can teach you how to use home practice and group classes to meet your practice goals. If you would like your practice to help you achieve a mental, emotional, spiritual or physical goal, our private instruction can point you in the right direction.

In our one-on-one sessions, you and your instructor can focus on developing the proper alignment and positioning in your asanas, for your body.  Private sessions also give you the chance to learn about the philosophy behind yoga and ask any questions you may have. Our certified instructors are educated and experienced enough to bring your yogi skills to a new level. You can use these sessions to complement your other classes at Yoga Studio Satya.

Therapeutic Sessions with Amanda

These sessions are a full body, personalized assessment; focusing on all aspects of being through the many lenses of yoga: philosophy, energy, optimal alignment and returning to nature of being. We are here to support your process of healing, recovery and integration. It’s encouraged to continue sessions, on an ongoing basis. Together we co-create your custom care plan. Sessions offered by Amanda Neufeld. . The experience of yoga is about returning to wholeness.  When we are able to recognize patterns, we can choose conscious awareness and create new pathways to support a better quality of life.  Amanda specializes in functional therapy, trauma, TBI, chronic pain, PTSD, grief, depression, anxiety, adaptive & rehabilitation.

The 30 minute massage tune-up focuses on the areas of your body that need the most attention. After an assessment to evaluate the physical dysfunction I will tailor a therapy session unique to you that will combine active stretching and lengthening on the yoga wall, hot/cold therapy, Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade (CPTG) doTERRA essential oils, Thai stretching and Neuromuscular Therapy. I will also demonstrate how you can do your own self-care using simple objects such as a lacrosse ball or rolling pin. If you listen to your body when it whispers, you won’t have to hear it scream.
