To truly understand what yoga is, is to explore who we are in relationship to the world around us as well as within. When we choose self study, growth arises and opportunities present themselves in new ways. One-on-one instruction at Yoga Studio Satya lets you focus on areas in more depth -- you can discuss proper alignment for your body, asking personalized questions or work on loosening tight hamstrings; learn about functional movement and how to modify poses to fit YOU. Though yoga is most known for physical practice and breath work (asana & pranayama), you may want to know more about Ayurveda, Energy, Neuropathways, Mudras, Sound, Light and more! Yoga is beneficial in recovery & rehabilitation from an injury, managing chronic pain, addressing depression and anxiety, calming neurological dis-ordered affects, feeling your way through grief, gaining mental/emotional health tools, improve lifestyle imbalances and low self-esteem, recover relationships (couples therapy), and helpful to relieve social anxiety/PTSD & trauma while building resiliency. Yoga Studio Satya has very knowledgable certified instructors, to help you achieve your goals and address your concerns: mental, emotional, spiritual or physical goal, we are here to meet YOU where you are. In our one-on-one sessions, you and your instructor can focus on developing the proper alignment and positioning in your asanas, for your body. Private sessions also give you the chance to learn about the philosophy behind yoga and ask any questions you may have. Our certified instructors are educated and experienced enough to bring your skills to a new level. You can use these sessions to complement your other classes at Yoga Studio Satya.
