A Shared Agreement to Live Our Yoga, Together.
As a sacred space for healing, growth, and community, we ask all students to honor the following guidelines. These policies are rooted in the ethical teachings of yoga and support a conscious, safe, and respectful environment for all.
Be Kind (Ahimsa)
Practice ahimsa (non-harming) in your words, actions, and energy. Kindness is the foundation of trust and connection. This also includes listening to your body while practicing, honor your limits.
This Is Not a Dating Space (Brahmacharya)
Please do not use the studio to pursue romantic relationships, to objectify others, or for seeking attention or validation. Respect personal boundaries. Brahmacharya supports clear boundaries and creates space for inner work, healing, and community integrity.
Avoid using sexuality to manipulate, dominate, or distract.
Practice self-restraint in environments dedicated to healing or spiritual growth.
Honor sacred spaces by keeping energy clear, focused, and aligned with the shared intention.
Live the Ethics of Yoga (8 Limbs)
Honor the yamas (how we treat others) and niyamas (how we care for ourselves). Let your presence and participation reflect these values:
Ahimsa – Non-harming
Satya – Truthfulness
Asteya – Non-stealing (including time, attention, energy)
Brahmacharya – Wise use of energy, restraint
Aparigraha – Non-attachment
Saucha – Cleanliness of body, mind, and space
Santosha – Contentment
Tapas – Self-discipline
Svadhyaya – Self-study
Speak Honestly, with Compassion (Satya)
Keep conversations respectful. We value clear, heart-centered communication. Say what you need to say, with love and respect. If something doesn’t feel right, or you need support, please speak with a teacher or staff member. We are here to listen and help. No Judgment - Your voice matters.
Commitment to Safety (Ahimsa)
Emotional and physical safety are essential. This includes honoring all identities, bodies, and lived experiences. Harmful or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated, including disrespect or harassment.
Respect the Practice & the Care for the Space (Seva)
This is a sacred container. Treat it—and one another—with care. Remove shoes in studios, keep props organized when returning them after using, silence your phone, and arrive with reverence. Help us maintain the integrity of this sacred space. This is your space too. Please help keep it clean and clear by contributing to the collective well-being.
Punctuality is Practice (Asteya)
Be on time. Arriving late disrupts the container and is a form of asteya (stealing others' time and energy). If you’re running late, breathe. We have some free practices on our App, and we’ll see you next time.
Honor the Individual and the Collective
Everyone’s path is unique. Respect personal journeys while contributing to a supportive and unified energy in the room.
* Please do not wear strong scents, honoring allergies, and sensitivities.
